How to I uninstall and reinstall my Nvida Graphics Drivers on my Laptop safely?

Hi, so my computer freezes every once in a while for about 30 seconds, then the screen goes black for a bit, and reboots. After the reboot, I get a message informing me that my Display has failed. So my question is how can I uninstall, and reinstall the drivers safely. I have an HP Elite book, and the display driver is called Nvida Quadro FX 880M.
