I took a MAP NorLevo yesterday (28 hours ago) this morning had to go bathroom and the telltale sting of a uti is buggin me. I've had 2 uti's in the past. I think I'm pretty susceptible to them. Anyway can I safely take Ural to ease the pain before I can see my doctor? Or should I wait a lil longer before I can take it? Does Ural interfere with the MAP or is it okay?

Losing weight in 2 months?

I'm 59 kg (130 pounds) and want to be 50kg (lose 20 pounds) within 2 months. I ate relatively well (although room for improvement), dance for 1 - 1.5 hours (on thursdays), for 4.5 hours on saturday, and I usually use the exercise bike most days, and I also do clinical pilates on Wednesday's for about 50-60 minutes. Any meal plans, diet suggestions/tips or references to any weight loss information that would work for a teenager would be greatly appreciated. I've found weight loss is really hard for me and desperately need that extra help! I want to lose it naturally and safely though, so I look healthy and fit.

Ok so today my computer was being slow, so i thought a very much deserved cleaning would help it go a little faster. Theres a bunch of stuff on my desktop that i dont use so i decided to uninstall them. I did it the safe way by going to Programs and Features, and uninstalling the applications that i dont use. I uninstalled something that i dont use and all of a sudden my screen turned black and went into safe mode. All the applications on my desktop are huge and i cant change it back. I tried pressing F2 when my computer started up. It gave me the option to Start Windows Normally, which i clicked. No difference. I turned my computer on and off about 10 times. (safely. not by clicking the on/off button over and over again) Its still huge as im typing this. I went to properties on my desktop and then went to Display Settings and its a 1024 by 768 pixels with high resolution. I really dont know what happened. If anybody has experianced this problem or knows how to fix it please tell me. I have some work to do and i CANNOT type with a huge screen. -.-

Is this normal for a lip piercing?

I pierced my lip last night, but I did it safely, I sterilized all of my equipment and made sure everything was clean. It's almost been a day since I pierced it, it's not red on the outside but red on the inside but that was because I had trouble getting it in on the other end. It's also swollen but I'm keeping it very clean. I don't have the piercing after care stuff but I made some saline which I read is good for cleaning out lip and tongue piercings, I don't really touch the hole itself but every so often I twist around the ring to keep it from crusting. Also the area on the inside of my mouth is swollen but not on the outside. Are there any tips to keep it from getting any worse?

I teach in a college, so our setting is very different from yours. But I handle the problem of cell phones this way: If a cell phone rings during class time, it is the signal for a pop quiz. Everything stops, everyone gets out paper, and the quiz gets written on the board. (The quiz is always related to work the students are supposed to be doing, so there is nothing arbitrary involved.) This process usually has to happen a couple of times at the beginning of the term, but when the students realize that I am serious about cell phone transgressions, they become fanatical about turning the phones off. I have also heard of professors who incorporate the technology into their lessons. They write a question on the board and ask students to text them the answer. (This is along the lines of "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.") The truth is that as more and more students get wired in to electronic media, we as faculty are going to have to adjust. One way is to keep students so busy that cell phone and iPod use isn't practical. If they're occupied with exercises, quizzes, and projects, they don't have time to sit and play with electronics. Another approach I have encountered is the "Don't worry about it" philosophy. (This is acceptable in a college, but not where you are, unfortunately.) In this strategy, the instructor ignores the behavior, figuring that the student will get his comeuppance at test time, which usually turns out to be the case. And in a college, the student can be dropped from the class. But you don't have that luxury. I wish the world did not cast teachers in the role of police officers, running around trying to control other people's behavior. That's not what we signed on for, and not what we need to be doing. But as long as teenagers have existed, they have always been self-centered little jerks, since that is their nature. It is part of the process of maturing to become aware of appropriate time and place and the effects which one's actions have on others. If you are unable to find an easy way to solve the problem, please at least learn to feel respected and appreciated for your contribution to helping the students get more in touch with reality. I'm being abused by my boyfriend and mother at the same time?

He has also threatened suicide following many arguments. I now have a criminal record, when I never so much as have gotten a parking citation. In police custody I sustained some serious injuries because of my state, I was completely blacked out and tried to climb up on the sink in my cell and fell on my face. I have to lie to my mother, friends and family to maintain this secret, because they are not capable of emotionally supporting me. My mother is quite unstable and I cannot trust her enough to share simple day-to day happenings without her becoming angry, hysterical and enraged. Even though I am in graduate school, my mother constantly undermines my education and intelligence, whereas it seems like this is exactly what intimidates my boyfriend. He is only educated up to the High School level. My life seems to be falling apart so rapidly. There seems to be a divide in the Republican party between two sides that I consider a little contradictory. One side wants small government and for government to leave us alone... the other side seems to want to use government to enforce traditional Christian social values. If you watched the latest Republican presidential debates in South Carolina recently I'd say that Rick Santorum definitely embodied the latter. And this side definitely seems to be about more government involvement in our private lives which seems directly opposed to small government principles. Ron and Rand Paul embody the other extreme. Which side will win out in 2012?

Starting July 1, the State of Florida is having a no tolerance for Welfare abuse because of the misuse of funds by drugs abusers. I had an earlier post of why California does not drug test welfare recipents and received a few negative responses. Well, there are statistics and that's why Florida put this new law into effect. I'm not just talking out thin air. Florida will have those applying for welfare benefits, pay for the drug test out of the benefit money they are applying for.
