Which is correct...toward or towards?

Both are correct. Towards is used more often in British English, and toward is more commonly used in American English. However, they are both in the dictionary and can be used interchangeably. If you are writing an academic paper though, your teacher might have a strong preference for one over the other. Always ask if you are in doubt.
