Do you understand the word ironic?

By definition irony can be the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning. The fact that opposites are contradictions I'm not sure if you meant to use irony here. However, your use of R&S to give a lesson in the English language could be taken as moronic as there are other sections ( Education & Reference, Words & Wordplay) where you could have asked or rather made your statement.
